About these terms

These Website Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of the Reveu public website at reveu.me.

They apply to website visitors, waitlist subscribers, people submitting contact enquiries, prospective merchants, business representatives, and anyone else who accesses the website.

These terms currently cover the public website only. They do not constitute the full terms for using the Reveu Shopify application.

About Reveu

Reveu operates this website from England, United Kingdom.

Reveu is developing Shopify-focused tools intended to help merchants collect customer feedback, build trust, engage customers, display social proof, and improve storefront conversion opportunities.

Accepting these terms

By accessing or using the Reveu website, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms.

You should stop using the website if you do not agree with these terms.

Where you use the website on behalf of a business, organisation, or Shopify store, you confirm that you have authority to act on its behalf.

These terms do not affect legal rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

Purpose of the website

The Reveu website currently provides:

• Information about Reveu and its intended features
• Early-access and launch information
• An early-access waitlist
• Product and setup information
• Support and frequently asked questions
• A contact form and direct email contact
• Legal, privacy, and company information

The website may describe features that are being tested, improved, prepared for launch, or made available gradually.

Website descriptions are not a guarantee that every feature will be available to every merchant, in every location, on a particular date, or in its currently described form.

Early access and waitlist

You may voluntarily provide your email address to join the Reveu early-access waitlist.

Joining the waitlist means that Reveu may contact you about:

• Reveu launch availability
• Early-access opportunities
• Closely related product updates
• Changes affecting early-access participation

Joining the waitlist does not:

• Create a paid subscription
• Guarantee access to the application
• Guarantee a particular launch date
• Guarantee acceptance into a limited testing programme
• Guarantee that current or future services will remain free
• Create an obligation for you to purchase or use Reveu

Reveu may control the timing, number, and order of early-access invitations. Access may be limited based on technical readiness, Shopify compatibility, capacity, location, merchant suitability, testing requirements, or other reasonable product considerations.

You may leave the waitlist by using an unsubscribe method provided in an email or by contacting hello@reveu.me.

Contact submissions

The Reveu contact form may be used for product support, early-access questions, privacy enquiries, partnership enquiries, and general messages.

When submitting an enquiry, you agree to provide information that is reasonably accurate and relevant to your request.

You must not submit:

• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Payment card information
• Unnecessary sensitive personal information
• Malicious scripts, executable code, or harmful links
• Content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, or deliberately misleading
• Personal information about another person without an appropriate reason or lawful authority

Submitting the contact form does not guarantee a response within a particular time. Reveu may prioritise enquiries based on urgency, subject matter, available resources, and whether sufficient information has been provided.

Contact-form submissions do not automatically add you to the early-access waitlist.

Permitted use

You may access and use the Reveu website for lawful purposes, including:

• Learning about Reveu
• Evaluating whether Reveu may be suitable for your Shopify store or business
• Joining the early-access waitlist
• Reading support and legal information
• Contacting Reveu with a genuine enquiry
• Sharing links to publicly accessible website pages

Any use of the website must comply with applicable laws and must not interfere with the rights, security, or experience of other people.

Prohibited use

You must not use the website to:

• Break any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, Firestore, hosting systems, administrative tools, accounts, or connected services
• Bypass, disable, probe, or interfere with security, validation, spam protection, or access controls
• Upload, transmit, or introduce malware, malicious scripts, automated exploits, or harmful material
• Overload, disrupt, damage, or impair the website or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to submit excessive waitlist or contact requests
• Scrape, harvest, extract, or collect information from the website at an unreasonable scale
• Impersonate Reveu, another person, a merchant, or an organisation
• Misrepresent your association with Reveu
• Submit spam, fraudulent enquiries, or deliberately false information
• Copy or commercially exploit website content without permission
• Use the website in a way that infringes intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights

Reveu may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, investigate misuse, comply with law, or protect other users and service providers.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Reveu website and its original content are owned by or licensed to Reveu.

This may include:

• The Reveu name and branding
• Logos, icons, and visual identity
• Website copy and documentation
• Page designs and layouts
• Illustrations, interface previews, and graphics
• Source code and scripts created for the website
• Product descriptions and feature organisation

You may view the website and make reasonable temporary copies required for ordinary browser use.

You must not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website without prior written permission from Reveu.

Shopify and other third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not transfer any ownership rights to Reveu.

Product feedback

You may voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, comments, bug reports, usability feedback, or feature requests relating to Reveu.

You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you already hold in your feedback.

By submitting feedback, you give Reveu permission to review, analyse, discuss, and use the feedback for the purpose of developing, improving, supporting, or operating Reveu without an obligation to pay compensation.

Reveu is not required to implement a suggestion, maintain it as confidential, or provide a particular response unless this has been separately agreed in writing.

Do not submit confidential business information or material belonging to another person unless you have authority to share it.

Third-party services and links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including hosting providers, Google Firebase, Google Search Console, Shopify, email services, or external websites.

Third-party services operate under their own terms, policies, systems, and availability arrangements.

Reveu does not control every third-party website or service and is not responsible for third-party content, security, availability, accuracy, or data practices.

A link or reference to a third party does not necessarily mean that Reveu endorses, sponsors, or is formally affiliated with that party.

You should review the applicable terms and privacy information before using an external service.

Website availability

Reveu aims to keep the website reasonably accessible, but does not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

Access may be interrupted by:

• Planned maintenance
• Emergency repairs
• Hosting or network failures
• Security incidents
• Third-party service outages
• Technical updates
• Events outside Reveu’s reasonable control

Reveu may change, suspend, withdraw, replace, or restrict all or part of the website where reasonably necessary.

Reveu is not required to keep every page, feature description, support article, or early-access facility permanently available.

Website content is provided for general informational and business-evaluation purposes. It should not be treated as:

• Tax advice
• Regulatory advice
• A guarantee of business performance
• A guarantee of increased sales, reviews, engagement, or conversion rates

You remain responsible for deciding whether Reveu, a particular feature, or information published on the website is suitable for your business and circumstances.

Screenshots, interface previews, demonstrations, and examples may be illustrative. The final application may differ in appearance, wording, availability, or behaviour.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

This includes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Breach of legal obligations that cannot be excluded
• Any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit

Business users

Where you use the website wholly or mainly for business purposes, Reveu will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use where those losses were not reasonably foreseeable.

Subject to liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, Reveu will not be responsible to business users for:

• Loss of profit, revenue, sales, or anticipated savings
• Loss of business opportunity
• Loss of goodwill or reputation
• Loss or corruption of data
• Business interruption
• Decisions made solely in reliance on general website content
• Failures caused by third-party services or systems outside Reveu’s reasonable control

Consumers

Where you use the website as a consumer, Reveu is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of Reveu breaching these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, where applicable.

Reveu is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, were caused by your misuse of the website, or relate to business activity where you were using the website for personal purposes.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Reveu processes personal information submitted through the website in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains:

You should not use the waitlist or contact form to submit information that is not reasonably required for the stated purpose.

Changes to the website and these terms

Reveu may update the website, its content, and these terms as the product, services, providers, business operations, or legal requirements change.

Updated terms will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed.

Changes will normally apply from the date they are published. They will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen where this would be unlawful.

Where a future change materially affects an existing registered service or contractual relationship, Reveu may provide additional notice where appropriate.

General terms

Entire website arrangement

These terms and the Privacy Policy describe the current arrangement governing use of the public Reveu website.

Separate written agreements or application terms may take priority for services that are not covered by these website terms.

Severability

If a court or competent authority decides that part of these terms is unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

The affected provision will be treated as removed or limited only to the minimum extent necessary.

No waiver

If Reveu does not immediately enforce a provision of these terms, that does not mean Reveu has permanently waived the right to enforce it later.

Transfer of rights

Reveu may transfer its rights or obligations under these terms as part of a business reorganisation, transfer, merger, sale, financing arrangement, or change of service operator, provided this does not unlawfully reduce your rights.

You may not transfer your rights under these terms to another person without Reveu’s written permission, except where applicable law gives you that right.

Third-party rights

Unless these terms expressly state otherwise, a person who is not a party to these terms does not have a right to enforce them.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute or claim relating to the Reveu website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Business users

Where you use the website for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or connected with these terms or the website.

Consumers

Where you use the website as a consumer, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom or in the country where you live.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and Reveu are encouraged to attempt to resolve the issue through direct, reasonable communication.
